Credit Union Extends Warm Wishes to Community

HEATH / NEWARK, OH campaign during the 2013 holiday season. The event invited members and staff to donate hats, gloves and scarves for those in need. These items were placed on a Christmas tree in the main lobby and s Eve. During this time, 37 sets of gloves, 13 hats and a scarf were collected. These items were donated at the perfect time to combat the frigid temperatures in this area. All items were presented to Connie Kramer, Director at Licking County Coalition of Care (LCCC), on January 13th, 2014.
HFCU has enjoyed helping the community with special events all year long. The Food Pantry Network of Licking County, United Way of Licking County, Licking County Humane Society and most recently, the LCCC, are among those given assistance to during 2013. The mission of the Licking County Coalition of Care, located at 105 Jefferson Street in Newark, is a faith-based organization that empowers people in crisis by connecting them with resources to meet their basic spiritual and physical needs and move them toward stability.
