Credit Union Supports Ronald McDonald House

Austin, TX Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union (GTFCU) raised $1,761.61 over the course of 2013 for the Ronald McDonald House Charities through the credit unions employee Give Back Days. Give Back Days are a chance for employees to fundraise one day a month by wearing jeans and a red GTFCU polo shirt. With 17 branches across the state of Texas, employees chose a national organization to receive the funds versus splitting it up between individual chapters of the organization in Texas. Credit union members are also welcome to donate to the charity any day of the year and are informed of the fundraiser with Give Back Day signs in each branch lobby. Greater TEXAS Federal Credit Union staff vote every December on the charity they will support for the upcoming year.
