Credit Union is Positive Influence in Community
December 17, 2013
South Dakota - This year, Ft. Randall Federal Credit Union has been working to be a positive and active influence in their community!
One organization that the credit union supported was Rachels Challenge, a program that helps students and adults fight bullying by creating a compassionate and kind culture within schools and communities. Ft. Randall Federal Credit Union helped to provide local students with T-shirts that displayed an anti-bullying message.
They were also involved in a cancer fund rummage sale and a local cancer walk to support those affected by cancer in their area. In addition, the credit unions branches organized a Coats 4 Kids coat drive during the month of November. Ft. Randall FCU members and others in the community donated coats, hats, mittens, boots, and other winter gear at each of the branches, and with an amazing show of generosity, the credit union was able to donate several full boxes of winter clothing to local schools and Department of Social Services organizations.
Ft. Randall Federal Credit Union has enjoyed giving back to its members and communities this year, and looks forward to participating in these and more new community events and charities during the next year.
