Credit Union Collects Donatins for Child Abuse and Neglect Council

CaptureSAGINAW TOWNSHIP, MI Saginaw Medical Federal Credit Union collected donations valued at more than $1,400 for the Child Abuse and Neglect Council of Saginaw County. The credit union celebrated International Credit Union Day throughout October by "Uniting for Good" with the CAN Council, which helps prevent child abuse and neglect through education, awareness, intervention and advocacy programs. Money, school supplies, craft supplies, games, toys, snacks and cleaning supplies were donated at Saginaw Medical Federal Credit Union locations at 4550 State in Saginaw Township and 1430 N. Michigan in Saginaw. Saginaw Medical Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1971 to serve the health care community and their families. The credit union has over 12,000 members and $120 million in assets.
