Credit Union Donation will Help Youth Summer Theatre Program

untitledCORINTH, NY�- Hudson River Community Credit Union (HRCCU) recently presented a $250 check to Craig Falkenbury, Director of the Town of Corinth Youth Commission. The donation was a result of the Credit Unions Community Heroes Program for which a $5 donation was made for each new person that became a member or for an existing member that added an additional service. HRCCU has donated over $5,000 to local community organizations such as Operation Adopt a Soldier, the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club, the Hope 7 Food Pantry and Speigletown Volunteer Fire Department since the program began in April 2012. "We are pleased to present this donation," stated HRCCU CEO, Susan Commanda. "These funds will help the Youth Commissions summer theatre program provide a creative outlet for the youth in our area." Hudson River Community Credit Unions mission is to improve the well-being of members and their families by providing quality financial services with the best overall value. HRCCU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and governed by its members. Anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or businesses and other legal entities located in Warren, Washington, Saratoga and Rensselaer Counties or the Towns of Cohoes, Watervliet and Green Island and their family members are eligible to join the credit union.
