Several California and Nevada credit unions participated in this years Create Miracles with Your Card initiative on International Credit Union Day on Oct. 17, raising nearly $175,000 on behalf of Credit Unions for Kids, a fundraising arm for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals.
Through its Miracle Match, CO-OP Financial Services provided $23,427 in matching funds. Credit unions who participated in the initiative included California CU, Xceed Financial, SkyOne FCU, Wescom CU, Caltech Employees FCU, Clark County CU, Community First CU, Eagle Community CU, Farmers Insurance Group FCU, Financial Partners CU, First City CU, Health Associates FCU, LBS Financial CU, Kinecta FCU, McKesson Employees' FCU, Orange Countys CU, Pacific Service CU, Redwood CU, San Mateo CU, SchoolsFirst FCU, and Southern California Postal CU.
