TCCUfundraiser1During the second week of October, the Minot branch of Town & Country Credit Union celebrated the annual Minot Ys Mens Rodeo. The 2013 Rodeo Week in Minot raised a grand total of $2,566 for the "Tough Enough to Wear Pink" (TETWP) campaign! Nearly 75 years ago Town & Country Credit Union was founded to provide agriculture loans to members, so it goes without saying that the credit union has rodeo and agriculture in its blood! Each year during the Minot Ys Mens Indoor PRCA Rodeo the Minot branch hosts rodeo week at the credit union. The focus during the week turns to supporting the Minot Ys Mens Indoor PRCA Rodeo. The credit union is a sponsor of this event and the staff makes it their mission to help raise funds for the TETWP campaign. The TETWPcampaign helps raise funding for the Trinity Health / YMCA cancer rehabilitation exercise program. This program allows community members who are undergoing cancer treatments to take work with a specialized fitness trainer at the YMCA. All proceeds donated to TETWP stay local and benefit our community members. During rodeo week the staff purchased Tough Enough to Wear Pink t-shirts, sold Taco in a Bag and held a week long silent auction; all together raising $2,566!
