Credit Union Holds School Supply Drive

hudson riverTROY, NY -�Employees and Members of Hudson River Community Credit Union recently held a school supply drive and donated over 120 backpacks stuffed with school supplies to the Lansingburgh Boys and Girls Club, the Troy Economic Opportunity Center and the Hudson Falls Community Action Angels. The supplies went to both students and teachers just in time for the upcoming year. "This was an event in order to gather school supplies for those children who dont have the tools in order to succeed," said Sue Commanda, CEO for Hudson River Community Credit Union. "We are happy to be able to give back to our communities." Hudson River Community Credit Unions mission is to improve the well-being of members and their families by providing quality financial services with the best overall value. HRCCU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and governed by its members. Anyone who lives, works, worships, attends school or businesses and other legal entities located in Warren, Washington, Saratoga and Rensselaer Counties or the Towns of Cohoes, Watervliet and Green Island and their family members are eligible to join the credit union.
