American 1 Credit Union Donates $20,000 to Lenawee Cares Initiative

Lenawee County, MI—American 1 Credit Union donated $20,000 to the Lenawee Community Foundation for their Lenawee Cares Campaign. 

"We are excited to contribute to the Lenawee Cares Campaign," said Kelly Grygiel, Vice President of Communications at American 1 Credit Union. “Giving back is part of the foundation of American 1, and being able to donate to Lenawee County strengthens our commitment to supporting all the communities we serve."

The Lenawee Cares Campaign, founded in 2016, allows non-profits or community resources in Lenawee County to apply for grants to continue their initiatives. The Lenawee Cares Advisory Board comprises 23 community volunteers who review community data, assess community needs, and make recommendations for funding where gifts can make the greatest impact.

American 1 Credit Union currently serves over 7,000 members in Lenawee County, with its full-service branch in Adrian conveniently located in the Country Market. American 1 Credit Union also plans to open an additional stand-alone branch in Adrian in 2025 with drive-thru lanes, a drive-up atm, and a full-service lobby.
