Naveo Credit Union Goes Red for the American Heart Association and Raises Nearly $300.
(Somerville, MA) For the fourth consecutive year, Naveo Credit Union participated in the American Heart Association’s Go Red day on Friday, February 2. Naveo raised $290 to bring awareness to and support research for heart health.
Naveo employees were invited to dress down and wear a red shirt or tie in exchange for a donation to the American Heart Association. Employee contributions were matched by the Credit Union and then double matched again by an American Heart Association donor for their 100th anniversary. In addition, to a casual day, Naveo had healthy snacks available in the breakroom, heart healthy tips were posted throughout the Credit Union and colleagues shared their favorite healthy recipes.
The American Heart Association’s signature women’s initiative, Go Red for Women, is a comprehensive platform designed to increase women’s heart health awareness and serve as a catalyst for change to improve the lives of women globally.
