MAX Credit Union Announces Two Community Achievement Recipients for 2023

MONTGOMERY, AL (December 14, 2023) - For 18 years, MAX has recognized organizations through
the Community Achievement Award for their overall contribution to individuals and continued efforts to
unite people who are making a positive impact by serving as a source of strength and inspiration for so
many. This year, MAX Credit Union is pleased to announce two recipients of the 2023 MAX
Community Achievement Award, the Boys and Girls Club of the River Region and the Boys and Girls
Club of East Alabama.

The Boys and Girls Clubs of the River Region and East Alabama are non-profit organizations located in
the communities we serve that focus on providing youth with tools and opportunities for their voices to
be heard in a loving and safe atmosphere. They offer an abundance of programs designed to prepare
club participants to be active leaders, as well as money management courses so club kids have the
necessary skills to be financially independent as they advance into adulthood.

As the recipient of the MAX Community Achievement Award, both organizations will receive a
$7,500.00 donation to further their mission. “The Boys and Girls Clubs are serving youth and providing
opportunities to guide young individuals on a path to future leadership. We are honored to recognize
and name the Boys and Girls Club of the River Region and the Boys and Girls Club of East Alabama as

A reception took place on Monday, November 13, 2023, to recognize the Boys and Girls Club of the
River Region and on November 28, 2023, to recognize the Boys and Girls Club of East Alabama.

Directors, and executive teams.
