LOWELL MA� In honor of national Make A Difference Day, Jeanne DArc Credit Union teamed up with Align Credit Union on Saturday, October 26, to clean up Hadley Park in Lowell.
"Our employees are part of the community and they enjoy helping to make it a better place in which to live and work," said Mark S. Cochran, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jeanne DArc Credit Union. "By working collaboratively with employees from Align Credit Union, they were able to get more accomplished for the community than they could have on their own."
The two volunteer teams devoted about three hours to raking the green areas and picking up litter in the skate park and playground at Hadley Park on Middlesex Street. Approximately a dozen employees dedicated their morning to making the park a cleaner and safer place for children to play.
