Day Air Credit Union Awards Two $1,000 Scholarships to Area Students

Day Air Credit Union was proud to partner with the Dayton Dragons to present College Prep Night to local high school students and their families. College Prep Night took place at Day Air Ballpark and the free event provided more than 2,000 high school students the opportunity to meet representatives from over 70 colleges and universities.

In addition to the opportunity to meet with college representatives and have their questions regarding college answered, high school students who attended were also entered for a chance to win one of two $1,000 scholarships provided by Day Air Credit Union. Recently Day Air shared the good news with the scholarship winners and was pleased to announce that Christopher Frank, a Chaminade Julienne High School student, and Sophia Fullenkamp, a Archbishop Carroll High School student, are the recipients of the 2023 Day Air College Prep Night $1,000 Scholarships.

“Access to the right education and opportunities is critical to the future of the leaders of our communities, which is why we are excited to provide these scholarships to Christopher and Sophia,” shared Amy Cline, Director of Member Services at Day Air Credit Union. “This annual event is our way of giving back to the youth in our communities and ensuring this next generation of leaders have better opportunities to be successful.”
