Credit Union Sponsors Road Run to Benefit Local Hospital

Pottstown, PA - Employees of Diamond Credit Union were on hand Sunday, October 13, 2013, at the Reading Hospital Road Run. The Road Run is an annual fundraising event to benefit projects of The Friends of the Reading Hospital, an organization of volunteers who raise funds to support new Hospital services. Over 2,000 runners were part of the event which consists of a 5K Run/Walk, a 10K Run/Walk, and a 1-Mile Fun Run/Fitness Walk. This is the fifth consecutive year that Diamond has been the lead sponsor of the Road Run. "The Friends of the Reading Hospital do a lot of meaningful things for the health of this community. Its a pleasure to have such a rewarding relationship with the Reading Health System and therefore have the opportunity to sponsor this wonderful event. On top of that, it gives so many of our employees, friends, and family the chance to join in the fun and show off their running skills," stated John Faust, President/CEO of Diamond Credit Union.
