14 High School Seniors Earn College Scholarships for the 2023-24 School Year

Supporting a new generation of future leaders

Together Credit Union, on behalf of its employees and members, is thrilled to award $21,000 in scholarship dollars to high school seniors from the Greater St. Louis area through its Vince Jacknewitz Scholarship Program.  Each recipient will receive a $1,500 college scholarship for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year.

“We are delighted to support this new generation of students and future leaders in pursuing their personal and academic goals,” said Claire Trunko, Chief People and Strategy Officer.  “We believe that investing in the education of these inspiring students will enable them to create even greater positive impact in our communities.”

The Vince Jacknewitz Scholarship program is administered by the credit union’s foundation, the Together Foundation, and honors the late Vince Jacknewitz, who served on the Board of Directors for Together Credit Union, formerly known as Anheuser-Busch Employees’ Credit Union, from 1984-2001, and as Board Chair from 1995-1996.  Recipients of the program are members of the credit union’s Young Adult Financial Group, a criterion for eligibility, and selected by a committee of judges.  As part of the application process, applicants were asked to submit an information packet, which included a record of academic achievements, letters of recommendation, a list of scholastic and community activities, and a written or video essay.
