DuPage Credit Union’s 10th Annual Drive, Drop, & Donate Event Raises Over $3000 to Benefit DuPage County Students in Need
DuPage Credit Union would like to thank everyone who generously donated to its June 16 Drive, Drop, & Donate event. During the tenth-annual shred and electronic recycling event, the Credit Union raised $3,070 to purchase backpacks with essential school supplies to be handed out through the DuPage Regional Office of Education (DuPage ROE).
“Ten years ago, we never imagined we’d raise over $120,000 for DuPage County students and families in need,” Amy Brandt, Senior Vice President of Digital, Payments and Learning Transformation. “We’re humbled by the generosity of our community, team and those that have sponsored our efforts throughout the years. Thank you.”
Backpacks stuffed with essential school supplies will be handed out through the DuPage ROE to students before and throughout the upcoming school year.
The Credit Union will continue to take donations through July 31. Donations can be made at dupagecu.com/backpacks.
