A Whole Summer of Local Event Spnsorship
June 13, 2023
“We exist to teach one another to prosper”
Westerra Credit Union’s commitment to their community extends beyond its members and into the surrounding communities. Westerra partners with local and regional community organizations that focus on education, financial literacy and community basics through corporate giving, volunteer time off, sponsorships and attending a variety of events.
This summer, you can find Team Westerra in your neighborhood! Members and community members are invited to stop by the neighborhood events and celebrations, say hello and learn about Westerra’s products and services.
“We love to mix and mingle with our members and community members in neighborhood events and celebration,” said Andrea McDermott, Commuinty Engagement Manager, “However, we are also thoughtful with our resources and time, making sure we review each opportunity to ensure it matches our resources, vision and mission, geographic area and more.”
You can find where Team Westerra will be this summer by viewing their recently revamped Community page, which includes an updated Events Calendar: westerracu.com/about/community/events. This calendar is designed to make it easy for members to find information about upcoming events in one convenient location. Visitors can browse details and logistics for each event. At this time, Westerra is not accepting volunteers for these events. For questions, feel free to contact us engagement@westerracu.com.
