Skyward Credit Union is pleased to present a donation of $5,000 to Kansas Aviation Museum, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to preserve and educate the public about Wichita aviation history.

These funds will help support Play on a Plane event on August 19, 2023. The event allows the public to learn more about aviation history in the state of Kansas with tours through aircraft and exhibits.

As the “Air Capital of the World,” Wichita has a rich and prominent history in the development of the global aviation industry. Kansas Aviation Museum is housed in the historic Wichita Airport Terminal located at 3350 South George Washington Blvd. The renovated terminal is reminiscent of the rich history of air travel through this region, offering exhibits, hands-on displays and a fleet of iconic aircraft (both military and civilian) located on the grounds. Skyward is proud to support the Kansas Aviation Museum and their mission to preserve, educate and commemorate Kansas aviation for future generations.
