Ukrainian Relief Efforts

Through Vizo Financial’s relationship with their local communities and Ukrainian Selfreliance FCU, and in response to the war in Ukraine, Vizo Financial conducted a donation drive at all four of their campuses for needed items for Ukrainians. The Corporate also supported the Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund, which is managed by the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions. Vizo Financial raised $37,525 and matched the raised contributions with a $25,000 donation. A total of $62,525 was donated to the Fund.

“Our staff spent many hours volunteering, contributing and supporting our communities in 2022,” said Erin Doan, Vizo Financial’s diversity, equity and inclusion director. “From supporting our usual organizations like Victory Junction and CMN Hospitals to supporting more local organizations in their communities, our staff went above and beyond this year.”

Community Volunteer Leave

Vizo Financial encouraged employees to utilize their community volunteer leave (CVL) hours throughout 2022. This resulted in 63 employees volunteering for a total of 459 CVL hours throughout the year.

“It was important for us to inspire staff to utilize their CVL hours in 2022,” said David Brehmer, president/CEO of Vizo Financial. “We really wanted them to go out into their communities and volunteer at organizations that were close to their hearts. I’m proud of what we accomplished as a collective organization through 2022 in our community involvement efforts!”
