(Peachtree Corners, Ga., Dec. 15, 2022) – Associated Credit Union Foundation (ACUF) collaborated with The Augusta Richmond County Marshal’s Office and The Augusta Regional Airport, Child Enrichment Inc., Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, Children’s Hospital of Georgia, Dawson County Family Connection, Neighborhood Cooperative Ministries, Neighborhood Meals on Wheels, The Quinn House, and Wilderness Works to fulfill over 800-holiday gift wishes for children, adults, and seniors.

ACUF partners with charitable organizations during Making Caring Count, a program that allows members and employees to pull gift wish tags from Christmas trees at branch locations and donate new unwrapped toys, clothing, and essential items.

"A lot of kids from low-income households will not get gifts this year. Seeing other kids with new things makes them sad when they go to school. These gifts will put a smile on their faces," said Ebonie Martin, Program Director at Wilderness Works.

The 15th annual Making Caring Count Program will help make holiday wishes come true for children and families undergoing difficult situations, due to the current financial climate. Delivering over 1000 gifts took place over the course of two days to be sure that those in need have presents to unwrap on Christmas morning. ACUF is dedicated to the embodiment of the "people helping people" credit union philosophy, which positively impacts adults and children.

Pat Smoke, Manager at The Quinn House said, "These gifts will help so many people in our community this Christmas."
