Skyward CU Donates Over $3,200 to The Union Rescue Mission

Wichita, KS, December 6, 2022 -- Skyward Credit Union is pleased to present a donation in the amount of $3,260 to Union Rescue Mission in Wichita as part of its Holiday Giveback promotion.

Union Rescue Mission of Wichita provides meals, shelter, and support for men in the community that struggle to make ends meet. As a non-profit organization, they also help men rebuild their lives with their 9-month Solid Ground - Life Engaging Program.

Founded in 1950, Union Rescue Mission now serves over 230 hot meals per day, provides over 170 places for shelter and transitional housing, and provides vocational training and experience. For struggling families, they provide food boxes plus diapers and formula. Today’s contribution will help purchase much-needed food, clothing for men, bedding, and hygiene products.
