November 17, 2022
Wichita, KS, November 17, 2022 -- Skyward Credit Union is pleased to present a donation in the amount of $4,000 to the Kansas Food Bank in Wichita as part of its Holiday Giveback promotion.
The Kansas Food Bank in Wichita provides comprehensive and compassionate HungerCare wherever it is needed in the community and throughout state of Kansas. As a non-profit organization, they partner with other hunger relief organizations in helping to provide Kansas households with food insecurity.
Founded in 1984, today, over 70 hunger-relief agencies are associated with the Food Bank and it continues to grow. With a complex distribution system (including rural deliveries), they are now able to reach and serve over 85 counties across the state.
Through funds and volunteers provided by individual contributions, businesses, churches, and civic groups, the Kansas Food Bank helps keep food pantries stocked for soup kitchens, shelters, schools, and senior delivery programs.
Skyward is committed to supporting our community and the organizations providing services for those in need. We are delighted to help the Kansas Food Bank with our donation.
