Naveo CU Raises Over $160 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with Costumed for a Cure Event
November 4, 2022
Naveo Credit Union employees dressed up in costumes on Monday, October 31 and raised over $160 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society during their Costumed for a Cure event. Naveo raised funds at their branches in a little over a week and then matched the total donation amount.
The Costumed for a Cure event has become an annual participation at Naveo, one that members and employees have come to look forward to. In more recent years, the event has led to creative costume choices and even competition amongst departments. This year costumes included lady bugs, an identity theft, “Error” costume and more!
To boost collections, employees were given the opportunity to trade in their business clothes for jeans the week prior with a donation to the cause.
“I’m proud of the on-going commitment from our team to support the important work of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of New England. Costumed for a Cure was a fun event for a great cause!” commented Andrea J. White, President and CEO at Naveo Credit Union.
