CaptureM-O Federal Credit Union, of Huron, SD, has been serving Federal and Postal employees and their families since 1950 and is not sitting down during the recent Government shutdown. M-O FCU has launched a "We Stand Ready&" campaign geared toward their members affected by the sequestration. Since every household has different circumstances and needs they are offering to help with a variety of financial assistance options. Some of those options are 0% APR loans, penalty-free early withdrawal on certificates, and deferred loan payment(s), among others. Besides the newspaper ads, M-O Federal Credit Union has also sent out email blasts to their members, posted information on their website, hung posters in their lobby, and handed out flyers in their money envelopes. Many members have already responded positively to their "We Stand Ready&" promotion. "We have had a few Federal employees call in to discuss their options, and tell us how relieved they are that we are willing to help them out during this time of need", commented Tiffanie Gebhart, M-O FCUs Marketing Coordinator.
