Credit Union Recognized for Financial Education Videos

Fitchburg, MA September 27, 2013 IC Federal Credit Union took Gold at last nights NEFMA awards gala for their recent YouTube videos launched from February 2012 through April of 2013. The videos were a series of six educational topics picked by senior management of IC. The award was given in the public relations category for credit unions $500M in assets and below.
"The idea was presented to us by digital creative services agency, James and Matthew & Company from the metro-west Boston area," said Monica Turner, internet and social media specialist. "The videos are not only extremely creative, but educational, entertaining and funny as well." The video series topics included: "Credit Unions vs. Big Banks," "Zombie Life Insurance," "The S Word" ("S" is for Savings), "Budgeting in B Minor," "The Tale of the Landlord & Broker," and "Credit Card Murphy-Behind the Plastic." IC was recently named #1 in the Financial Brands Top 100 YouTube list for credit unions.
