Angelina Faria of Duluth, GA, as this years $2,500 University of Georgia Scholarship drawing winner. Hundreds of registered UGA students entered Georgia Uniteds scholarship drawing which was held on September 1.� Entries were collected throughout the summer at Georgia United Credit Unions two Athens branch locations.
Anglina Faria, a sophomore student majoring in Education at UGA, was selected at random from all submitted entries.� Georgia United Credit Union is the community credit union that serves the faculty, staff, students and alumni of the University of Georgia.� This is the seventh year that Georgia United has offered a scholarship drawing as part of "back to school" activities at UGA.
