Credit Union Partners With Atlanta Falcon for School Supply Drive

Doug and Sean at WoodwardDeKalb County, GA�- Woodward Elementary School on Curtis Drive in DeKalb County had a very special visitor today. �Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon stopped by to speak with 5th graders about leadership. Weatherspoons� Spoonful of Hope Foundation partnered with Georgia United Credit Union and Star94 Radio for a successful school supply drive and todays visit was in follow-up to the school supply donation made to Woodward in August. Sharing School Supplies with School Students at Woodward Elementary are (back row, left to right) Georgia United Credit Union President Doug Foote; Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon; Woodward Assistant Principal Demetria Haddock; Star 94s Casey Tate. Thanks to all the Credit Union members who dropped off 8,251 new school supplies and cash donations at one of Georgia Uniteds 16 branch locations this summer.� Supplies were donated to Forsyth, Henry, Rockdale, Clarke, Whitfield, Laurens, Fulton and DeKalb County Schools. The Four DeKalb County Schools were selected to receive donations from Georgia Uniteds four DeKalb County branches: Woodward Elementary, Indian Creek Elementary, Panola Way Elementary and Toney Elementary. Of those four, Woodward was selected to receive a visit from Atlanta Falcon Sean Weatherspoon.
