Credit Union Donates $73,300 to Relay For Life

Pottstown, PA - Diamonds Hope, the Diamond Credit Union Relay For Life team, is celebrating their 2013 fundraising total of $73,300. This is the eighth consecutive year that Diamond has made the American Cancer Society Relay For Life a fundraising focus. The grand total raised over all eight years is a remarkable $488,905. The entire staff of the credit union contributed to this total through a series of fundraising initiatives. Some of Diamonds most popular events are their Annual Golf Invitational, Winners Choice Designer Bag Bingo, Beef and Beer, Philadelphia Eagles Basketball, Shredding Events, and Hot Dog/Bake Sales.

In 2013, Diamond was the Presenting Sponsor of the Berks County Relay For Life events, as well as a Corporate Sponsor for the Pottstown Relay For Life. Diamonds Hope takes pride in knowing that the American Cancer Society uses the money they raise to support local patients, prevent cancer for future generations, and work to find a cure.
