(Peachtree Corners, Ga., October 27, 2022) – Associated Credit Union Foundations’ (ACUF) largest fundraiser of the year took place Friday, October 21, 2022- Saturday, October 22, 2022, in Lavonia, Georgia. The annual fundraiser commemorated its 10th anniversary benefiting ACUF’s charitable partners and included a silent auction and raffle, allowing the credit union’s business partners, vendors, board members, team members, and friends of ACU to learn more about the foundation while simultaneously building camaraderie with other participants. Georgia Tight- End, Brock Bowers, who entered into a two-year Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) deal with Associated Credit Union in March 2022, attended as a special guest.

ACUF had an initial goal of $60,000, however, due to sponsorships and donations, that goal was exceeded with a final fundraised amount of nearly $70,000, which is more than any previous year. Last year's fundraiser raised $51,000 in sponsorships and donations. These generous gifts allow ACUF to have a greater impact and provide more support to the foundation’s partners and individuals in the community.

The sponsors and in-kind donors for this year’s fundraiser included Credit Union Loan Source, CUNA Mutual Group, Econocheck, The LaRocco Companies, EMS Consulting, Route66 Extended Warranty, SWBC, TOKN, Allied Solutions, Enterprise Car Sales, Catalyst Corporate Federal Credit Union, Delta Community Credit Union, Meridianlink, McManamy McLeod Heller, Aubrey Thrar, Burke Moore Law Group, Speedy Recovery Services, Basis Technologies, Drummond, Ducksmackers Game Calls, Total Wine & More, Reliance Field Services, Business Innovations, Ragan & Ragan, 680 The Fan, Georgia Bulldog Sports Marketing, Tiger Tactical, and Enact IM . These invaluable sponsors will directly help the ACUF promote the community's social, educational, and economic well-being.
