Waltham, MA— RTN GoodWorks Foundation raised more than $35,000 from its 2022 Golf Tournament held on October 3, 2022 at the Oakley Country Club in Watertown, MA. These funds will help support RTN GoodWorks Foundation’s community projects and financial education efforts.

The day’s festivities included a program with prize awards, raffles and a silent auction. As a Titanium Sponsor, RTN Federal Credit Union was the major supporter of this event.

This summer, the Foundation donated a total of $5,000 to three community partners.

Donations included $2,500 to the Massachusetts Coalition for the Homeless, which is the primary charity of Massachusetts credit unions, as well as two donations to local food pantries to help those experiencing food insecurity -- $1,250 to the Danvers Food Pantry, and $1,250 to a Brighton/Brookline food pantry.

“We appreciate the generous involvement of our golfers, business sponsors and donors who support the RTN GoodWorks Foundation,” says Joan Kuhn, Chair, RTN GoodWorks Foundation Board of Directors. “Proceeds from today’s Tournament will help support the Foundation’s ongoing activities and ensure we can continue our good works in the community.”
