Warner Robins, GA — Robins Financial Credit Union recently donated to Fort Valley State University (FVSU) by contributing $2,000 to their Head Start and Early Head Start programs.

FVSU Head Start and Early Head Start programs serve approximately 727 children annually in eight counties in central Georgia. FVSU continues to provide Head Start and Early Head Start services that promote school readiness emphasizing cognitive, social, and emotional development. FVSU has worked to ensure its programs provide a stable continuum to minimize gaps in service for children. FVSU guarantees that families have options so that there is continuity for the children from enrollment in FVSU’s Head Start and Early Head Start programs until they transition to kindergarten. The funds from this donation will be used to purchase books for enrolled children and additional classroom supplies.

Robins Financial Credit Union is a local non-profit financial cooperative with twenty-two branches in central Georgia. Robins Financial currently provides financial services to over 248,000 members, with assets exceeding $4 billion.
