DuPage Credit Union Overwhelmed With the Communitys Generosity During Community School Supply Drive
NAPERVILLE DuPage Credit Union would like to thank the community for its charitable participation during the Credit Unions recent Community School Supply Drive to benefit local students.
Donations were accepted throughout the month of July at Credit Union Branch Offices, the Naperville Public Library and at several Business Partner locations. During the Community School Supply Drive, the Credit Union collected over 2000 pencils, 600 folders, 500 notebooks, and over 100 boxes of crayons and packs of pencils; along with nearly 100 backpacks and numerous additional supplies, such as highlighters, markers and hand sanitizer. "Were overwhelmed by the communitys generosity during our supply drive to help local students," said Amy Brandt, Vice President of Business Solutions. "Their donations will help countless children begin the school year off right." "I would also like to thank our business partners and the Naperville Public Library for their support; we wouldnt have been able to collect so many supplies without their assistance." Supplies were donated to community schools and the Big Brothers Big Sisters Organization for distribution to children who might otherwise not begin the school year with the fundamental supplies needed to succeed.
