WCCU Gives $5,000 Donation to 14-Year-Old Babe Ruth World Series

Williston, ND - Western Cooperative Credit Union (WCCU) believes in supporting youth and bringing people to experience the great communities this credit union serves. That is why WCCU Board of Directors presented a donation for $5,000.00 to Jeremy Ludlum, Host Vice President for the 14-Year-Old Babe Ruth World Series Committee.

The Babe Ruth Baseball/Softball program, using regulation competitive baseball and softball rules, teaches skills, mental and physical development, a respect for the rules of the game, and basic ideals of sportsmanship and fair play. The Babe Ruth League, Inc. is committed to providing participants the very best educational, sports experience possible.

WCCU’s donation supported expenses for preparing for the games, such as field improvements and event promotion. The 14-Year-Old Babe Ruth World Series at Aafedt Stadium August 13 – 20 is a very special event that showcases the hospitality of Williston and all the volunteers that make the event possible.
