Credit Union Supports Local United Way of Laramie County
September 9, 2013
WYOMING - For the 17th year in a row, WyHy Credit Union has been a "Pacesetter" for the Laramie County United Way. As a Pacesetter, WyHy helped kick-start the annual United Way campaign. Representatives from Meals on Wheels and the Boys and Girls club were also there because of the funds and volunteer work they receive from United Way and WyHy. The Representatives from both groups spoke about the positive impact United Way, WyHy and others have on those the two groups support.
"WyHy believes in not just being there for our members, but for those within the communities we serve," said William N. Willingham III, President and CEO of WyHy. "Our employees embrace the opportunity to give back and for the third year in a row (2011-2013) WyHy has had 100% employee participation with our United Way efforts." Established in 1953, WyHy Credit Union (in partnership with their members) provides a full range of high quality financial services which create and support members lifestyle choices while maintaining a strong financial position. WyHy serves Wyoming through branches in Cheyenne and Casper, and the shared credit union nationwide network known as Shared Branching where WyHy members can conduct basic banking transactions at other Shared Branching credit union participants nationwide, including credit unions in the Wyoming cities of Evanston, Green River, Laramie, Pinedale and Rock Springs.
