EAU CLAIRE, Wis. – The Royal Credit Union Foundation made a $100,000 gift to the Boys and Girls Club of Chippewa Falls  in support of the Club’s relocation and renovation. The expanded Club will be able to serve more youth and families in the Chippewa Falls area as well as provide green space and indoor and outdoor activity areas for children in the Club. The new Chippewa Falls Club is already at capacity to serve 100 kids a day using the existing spaces. When all the facility additions are complete, the Chippewa Falls Club facility will be able to serve up to 200 Club Kids a day. The newly renovated Club will also provide much needed accessibility and safety upgrades.

“We are very grateful to RCU Foundation for their generous support of this important project. The Chippewa Falls Boys & Girls Clubs is uniquely impacting youth during crucial out-of-school hours with diverse, fun and inclusive programming that impacts their academic success, career choices, mental health, healthy lifestyles, and good character. It’s an unparalleled investment, and we’re so grateful for this vital support.” said Ann Kaiser, CEO of the Boys and Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley.

The Boys and Girls Club of Chippewa Falls Club has a mission of inspiring and enabling all youth to reach their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. “The Royal Credit Union Foundation supports programs that serve the youth and families in the communities where Royal Credit Union is located.” said John Sackett, President of the Royal Credit Union Foundation Board. “We are honored to donate to the Boys and Girls Club of Chippewa falls because their support helps young people, their families, the schools, and the wider community.” Funds from the RCU Foundation will be used for the Family Communication Center in the newly remodeled Chippewa Falls Club.
