Levo CU Awards Six Grants to Local Teachers
June 22, 2022
Sioux Falls, SD - Levo Credit Union announces their 2022 Adopt A Classroom Grant Winners: Ashley Zenk, Brittany Prinsen, Carly Osterloo, Eliza Leloux, Jill Fitzsimmons and Tyler Fitz.
Levo awards six $500 grants to deserving teachers throughout the community by parents and students who nominated them for the impact they have made on their lives. Because teachers often invest their own funds into the classroom, Levo gives back to help with those out-of-pocket classroom expenses.
All entries were reviewed and winners were chosen based on the impact they have made as a teacher.
“Teachers are often unseen heroes and so the Adopt A Classroom program is an opportunity to recognize these amazing men and women for the dedication and great work they are doing with our kids. Plus, it allows us the opportunity to give back and help out where it’s needed,” stated Fran Sommerfeld, CEO/President of Levo Credit Union. “Thank you, teachers, for all you do to pour into our kids.”
Ashley Zenk is a teacher at Tri-Valley Elementary, Brittany Prinsen is a teacher at Discovery Elementary, Carly Osterloo is a teacher at St. Michaels, Eliza Leloux is a teacher at All City Elementary, Jill Fitzsimmons is a teacher at John Harris and Tyler Fitz is a teacher at Harrisburg South Middle School.
Levo Credit Union was chartered in 1934 and currently serves anyone who lives or works in Minnehaha, Lincoln, McCook and Turner counties of South Dakota. The not-for-profit cooperative has over 30,000 members with six Sioux Falls locations.
