EDWARDSVILLE, IL – The Scott Credit Union Community Foundation held its annual Golf Scramble on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Gateway National Golf Links in Madison, Il. With over 100 participants, many silent auction items for bidding, and dozens of sponsors, more than $50,000 was raised for local causes. The presenting sponsor of the Golf Scramble was FIS Global and platinum sponsors included Allied Solutions, KMOV, ManageEngine and Sandberg Phoenix and von Gontard.

The Scott Credit Union Community Foundation was founded in 2018 to expand the reach of Scott Credit Union’s (SCU) community involvement. There are two main initiatives for the Foundation - the annual golf tournament fundraiser and the establishment of an education grant program to support initiatives at area schools. One hundred percent of the proceeds raised by the Foundation are donated back into the local community in support of local education and community initiatives!

Since its inception in 2007, the golf scramble has raised more than $350,000 for the communities we serve.

“Our connection to the communities we serve remains a great source of pride for us,” said Frank Padak, President and CEO of Scott Credit Union.  “We are so thankful for everyone’s support of our annual Golf Scramble, no matter how big or how small, to help us raise dollars for the SCU Community Foundation. And we can’t wait to put those dollars back into the communities we serve.”
