New England FCU Announces First Quarter Community Giving

NEFCU Williston, VT Four times each year, New England Federal Credit Union (NEFCU) selects four recipient organizations at random to receive $625 each, for a total of $10,000 annually. NEFCU’s community giving donation recipients for the first quarter of 2022 were:

Addison Volunteer Fire Department--for equipment needs. The Addison Volunteer Fire Department is an all-volunteer service that has served its community for more than 100 years.

Project HOePpnEr-- for the fourth annual Hope for TomorROW rowing event. Project HOePpnEr was created in 2018 by the Hoeppner family to increase awareness around teen suicide.

The University of Vermont Health Network-Home Health & Hospice--for the Jiggety Jog & Fun Run. This event is the single largest fundraiser for McClure Miller Respite House, which is Vermont’s only Medicare-certified hospice home.

Fairfield Community Center--for their Summer Music Series. For more than a century, the Fairfield Community Center has helped meet the ever-changing needs of area residents and enriched the lives of rural Franklin County families.
