(Somerville, MA) Naveo Credit Union joined Inclusiv, a membership-based network intermediary, connecting financial institutions across the country with the common mission of serving the underbanked. Naveo joined Inclusiv to help with the expansion of strategies focused on serving the underbanked and low-to-moderate incomes communities within their field of membership. This membership will supplement Naveo’s already established Low Income Designation set by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA).

Inclusiv is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) certified intermediary with 451 members who are providing affordable, responsible and sustainable financial services to nearly 17 million consumers in 47 states, DC. Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. The Inclusiv networks grants Naveo access to webinars, conferences, technical assistance, advocacy and more. The greatest benefit, however, is the access to connect with other members and learn about what strategies are working for them.

Naveo is a proud and socially responsible organization with deep ties to the community. By joining the growing number of financial institutions in the Inclusiv network, Naveo is showcasing its commitment of financial inclusion and community development. With this membership, Naveo hopes to establish trust and financial security amongst the financially underserved communities, create new loan programs dedicated to assist low-to-moderate income designated communities and expand its financial education offerings.

“We are excited to partner with Inclusiv to better serve our communities and to advance the mission of Naveo Credit Union – ‘Guiding the financial lives of the people we serve – in the neighborhoods where we live,’” commented Andrea White, President/CEO at Naveo Credit Union.
