CSE Federal CU Promotes Financial Health of Youngest Members

Lake Charles, LA — CSE Federal Credit Union (CSE) celebrates National Credit Union Youth Month (Youth Month) during the month of April. The theme for this year’s Youth Month is “Save small. Dream Big.”
CSE is offering a $25 cash bonus to children ages 0-17 when they open a Youth Savings account or a $100 cash bonus to teenagers ages 13-17 when they open a Teen Checking account, during the month of April, with the help of a parent or guardian1. CSE has also partnered with Pizza Artista to host two events at their Lake Charles location, April 2nd and 23rd from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. CSE will set-up on the outdoor patio with giveaways, free pizza, face-painting and more!
Dreaming big doesn’t mean you need to start with big actions. The first small step is usually the hardest, but once it’s taken, you can use momentum to propel you forward. This year’s theme for National Credit Union Youth Month is “Save Small. Dream Big. at your credit union.” It uses the image of a magical rainbow with a wish-fulfilling gold star at the end. We want to tell young Members that their dreams are attainable, no matter how big they are.
Connect with us at our Youth Month Financial Literacy workshops Thursday April 21st at Main Office, 4321 Nelson Rd, Lake Charles. Children ages 8-12 will benefit from our first workshop at 11 a.m. that will cover the importance of saving.
