Polish & Slavic FCU Partnering to Establish Ukraine Refugees Relief Fund

Brooklyn, NY (March 2, 2022) – As a result of the Russian invasion of the Ukraine, ongoing war and the resulting humanitarian crisis in the country, hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian civilians have fled their homeland, with a vast majority of them crossing the Ukrainian border into Poland. These refugees are in dire need of humanitarian aid since, in majority of cases, they left their homes with just a handful of personal items.

With these refugees in mind, the Polish & Slavic Federal Credit Union, in partnership with the John Paul II Foundation of New Jersey, has set up a special account at PSFCU to which everyone can deposit their donations with the memo “Donation for Ukraine Refugees.” We encourage everyone to join us in this humanitarian effort. The entire amount of the collected funds will be sent to local charitable organizations providing direct assistance to Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
