Credit Union Serves Dinner for 80 at Soup Kitchen

WALTHAM MARTN Federal Credit Union employees sponsored and served dinner for 80 men and� women at the Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen in Waltham on Tuesday, July 30.
RTN employees served rotisserie chicken, potato salad, garden salad and� dinner rolls, with homemade cake for dessert. Bristol Lodge is an arm of� Middlesex Human Service Agency in Waltham, which is a long-time sponsor group of� the credit union.
Funds for the meal were contributed through the RTN Employees Community� Outreach Committee. The committee is made up of RTN employees who contribute� funds and volunteer to assist local organizations and charities.
"The Employees Community Outreach Committee is an ongoing effort that� reflects the credit union value of community involvement," said Robin Hartnett,� RTN assistant regional branch manager. "Employees who participate in this� endeavor are grateful for the opportunity to serve the community in which we� work every day, and help those in need."
Bristol Lodge Soup Kitchen is located at Immanuel United Methodist Church,� 545 Moody St. The lodge serves a daily hot meal from 4 to 5:30 p.m. to those in� need.
