Well be supporting the kids on September 18^th Has your credit union signed up yet? �Photo left:� Make a $25 donation for Miracle Jeans Day and get this great t-shirt to go with your jeans on September 18th!� Or, make a $5 donation to just wear jeans to work every dollar helps! The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas (CUAD)�staff has answered the call for Miracle Jeans Day on September 18^th and has 100% employee participation for this great fundraiser.� This year, every CUAD employee (8 of us here) committed to the $25 donation (which earns you a FREE t-shirt) and with the match contribution from CUAD, we will be sending a check to the Childrens Miracle Network for $400! This wonderful charity raises funds and awareness for 170 childrens hospitals including our own local CMN Hospitals:� Sanford Childrens Hospital in Fargo; Sanford Childrens Hospital in Sioux Falls; and Rapid City Regional Hospital in Rapid City.� The funds that we raise stay local, benefiting our members and our community!   If your credit union is not yet registered, please know that this year, there are two ways to get involved:

1. Create an online team, and solicit donations from your staff online

2. Create an offline team, and submit donations via check

(If you plan to participate in Miracle Jeans Day, please create either an online or offline team, so we can be sure to recognize your credit union properly!) We also gathered some best practices from past Miracle Jeans Day participants.� Consider implementing these simple ideas at your credit union:

1. Get Your Members Involved - Provide members the opportunity to display their name on a special Miracle Jeans Day paper icon in exchange for a dollar donation for the kids.� Print-at-home icons are available here.
2. Create a Challenge:� Issue a challenge for 100% staff participation. If your credit union succeeds, purchase lunch for your staff.� Or, set up a competition for most dollars raised among your branches.� You can check out other "Team Planning Tools" here.
3. Host Multiple Miracle Jeans Days: Theres no reason the fun can only occur on September 18!� Host casual days every Friday in September or for the entire week.
