HEATH/NEWARK/JOHNSTOWN, OH – January 10, 2022 —Hopewell Federal Credit Union (HFCU) spread some warmth with the donation of warm weather goods to support those in need.  Donated items included 55 blankets, 104 pairs of gloves, 75 fleece lined hats, and 36 fleece scarves.  These items were delivered by President/CEO, Chris Simmons, and Executive Assistant/HR Director, Heather Koklich, on January 7th, 2022, to Lieutenant Tatyana Rivera of the Salvation Army in Newark, Ohio.

Each Friday, Hopewell Federal Credit Union staff members were invited to donate a dollar in exchange for the opportunity to dress in casual attire.  The funds collected throughout the year were then used to purchase items for donation.  The HFCU team was thrilled that their collective donations went toward such a worthwhile cause.

The Salvation Army, located at 250 East Main Street, Newark, OH 43055, provides addition dependency services, emergency response, and much more.  This valuable organization focused on faith is a tremendous resource for those in need.
