Western Cooperative CU Makes $10,000 Donation to Local Seed Plant

Williston, ND - December 15, 2021 - Western Cooperative Credit Union is pleased to announce a first installment donation of $10,000 to the Williston Research Extension Center Seed Plant.
WCCU Board of Directors and President/CEO Melanie Stillwell presented the donation to Jerry Bergman of NDSU Williston Research Extension Center at the November 2021 board meeting.
Stillwell stated, “We feel the support for this seed plant is important, especially as an agricultural credit union in Western North Dakota.”
The new seed conditioning plant brings the latest in seed cleaning technologies to Northwestern North Dakota, which has been much needed to support local farmers.
Western Cooperative Credit Union is based in Williston, North Dakota with branches in Dickinson, Hebron, Beach, Glen Ullin, Ray, and Tioga.
