Credit Union Recognizes Teacher "Stars in the Classroom"

CaptureHouston, TX - First Community Credit Union and The Houston Texans� have� teamed� up� for� their� third� annual� "Stars� in� the� Classroom"� program. The program kicks off on August 19th accepting nominations for teachers who are Stars in their Classroom.� All of the winning and deserving teachers will be awarded football tickets, sideline passes, a $500 donation to the school district, an autographed jersey, and a visit to their classroom from Houston Texans linebacker Brian Cushing! The nominating student will receive an autographed Houston Texans football. Cushing will make his first classroom appearance in late�September. "Houston is fortunate to have strong teachers that help students realize their potential and reach their goals," First Community Credit Union President and CEO Ron Downing�said. The "Stars in the Classroom" program will honor ten exemplary teachers and the impact they make on our future.� The teachers are nominated by students and parents.
