Northern Hills FCU Raises Over $4,600 for United Way

Sturgis, SD - December 10, 2021 - Northern Hills FCU staff recently presented a check for $4,647 to the United Way Black Hills Director, Jamie Toennies and Development Director, Kerry Lassaux for the United Way of the Black Hills annual donor drive.

Each year, the credit union strives to increase their donation and to achieve 100 percent staff participation as one of their annual goals.  With the help of generous members, the credit union exceeded their annual donation by 16 percent this year and also had 100 percent staff participation from all four locations! 

“Having 100 percent staff participation is rarely achieved by donating organizations, and we are very proud of our staff’s contribution to their communities,” stated Marty Willms, Vice President Administration/Operations. 

Northern Hills FCU is located in Sturgis, SD with branches in Deadwood, Belle Fourche, and Spearfish. Chartered in 1950, they hold over$127 million in assets and have nearly 10,000 members.
