Abbey CU Makes Surprise Donation to Local Police Charity

Throughout the month of November and December, members of the Division of Police have the option to grow a beard or go bold on nail colors for a small donation to the Vandalia Butler Food Pantry.
This year the Police Division raised $1,300 for the food pantry, and the plan was to present the check to the pantry this morning during the annual division meeting.
Abbey Credit Union presented to John Wheeler of the Food Pantry with a check for $1,300 matching the $1,300 Police donation!
According to John Wheeler, the $2,600 donation will feed roughly 40 families over the holiday season! We are here to serve our community. #communityfirst
