Pensacola, FL. — November 3, 2021 — The Gulf Winds Cares Foundation is gifting $25,000 over five years to the University of West Florida’s Louis Maygarden Center for Financial Literacy. The gift makes Gulf Winds the title sponsor and partner with the Center to provide a series of quarterly financial literacy workshops available for free to the community. The workshops will be in January, March, June and October of 2022.

“It is always exciting when great community partners step up to meet one of the most pressing needs of our community,” said Dr. Richard Fountain, dean of the College of Business. “This generous gift from Gulf Winds will enhance the Maygarden Center for Financial Literacy’s efforts to provide financial literacy instruction to members of the University and community.”
