On October 21, 2021, TFCU joined over 56,000 credit unions across the world to celebrate International Credit Union (ICU) Day. Every third Thursday of October, credit unions take the time to reflect upon their history, promote achievements, recognize hard work, and share member experiences.
This year, TFCU joined the celebration by giving back to their members and the El Paso Community.
-
Partnering with Boss Chicken®, TFCU provided the first 800 members that visited their branches that day with a free Chicken N’ Cheese Sandwich
-
TFCU hosted a social media and email raffle where six lucky winners were selected at random to win an Amazon e-gift card
-
To give back to the community, TFCU provided an opportunity for their employees to nominate the charity of their choice to receive a $600 donation
Credit unions were built on the principle of “People Helping People.” And for more than 100 years credit unions have been putting it into action by providing access to affordable financial products and striving to meet the needs of underserved communities. TFCU is honored to be a part of this proud tradition.
